simulating double tap and hold on iPad with braille

Is there a way to simulate the double tap and hold/drag gesture with a braille display such as the focus 40? I am experimenting with an app that requires the user to drag values up and down to change them. I can do this on the iPad itself, but it would be very handy to be able to do this with the focus 40. Alternatively, I could use a bluetooth keyboard instead if it can be done with that? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks
Gord

On a braille display, you can only do double tap and hold, but you can't drag items. I wish you could though. To double tap and hold on a braille display, press Space with Dots 3 6 7 8.

Hello all,

The double tap and hold braille display keystroke described here and in an Applevis blog post is not working for me. I am using a Braille Note Apex with an iPhone 5s that is running iOS 10.3.2. I have tried using the dots 3-6-7-8 keystroke by itself and I have also performed the keystroke following the pass through keystroke utilized by the Braille Note Apex; neither of them worked.

If anyone can provide any suggestions on how to get this going,, I would greatly appreciate it! Being able to perform this function on my display would be very convenient.
