Braille on Apple Products

I know this may be a silly and simple question, but I am not the most technical person and am left to figure out most stuff by myself, which I am not that good at. I recently (last weekend) upgraded to an iPhone 6, which obviously would have the latest iOS version on it. So when I am reading my iBook, whenever it pans to the next page, a message comes up telling me what page I am on (e.g. page 201 of 648). This never used to happen. The problem is that it interrupts the flow of the reading, particularly because the message sits there for about five seconds and hence interrupts the flow of the reading whilst I wait for the message to disappear. Can't seem to find a setting to disable this. Does anyone know anything about this? Any ideas welcome and I appreciate any assistance
