possible bug in iMessage using braille screen input

I have discovered a strange bug specifically in iMessage when trying to use braille screen input. When I put the phone in landscape mode to use braille input, it puts me in the hand writing area. Mind you, I don't even have hand writing selected as an option to show up in my rotor. Even more strange, this only happens in iMessage. I can use braille input anywhere else. Is anyone else having this issue?

I experience the same thing as you do in regards to the BrailleScreen Imput and iMessage and the handwriting area.

Might you be accidentally clicking on digital touch? That's a new iOS10 feature that lets anyone handwrite messages. I accidentally did that a few weeks back. My main issue with it has been that when I go into braille screen input, my hand covers the proximity sensor and it starts recording audio.

No, I was sitting in the edit field, (I think you have to be to even activate braille input), and once the device said "Landscape, home button to the left." I then put it in screen away mode, and the phone then says verbiage about handwriting, and I am unable to input braille.

I think the home button is supposed to be on the right when entering braille.
