Hi all,
I'm experiencing some issues with iBooks and my Braille display which is a Fs Focus 40 Blue.
When I'm reading a book and a notification comes up it is displayed on my Braille display which is good. But after the notification goes away I am not where I've been before. So I have to navigate to the text and then to the certain line where I left manually. I think that is quite anoying. The same problem happens when I'm navigating to another control of the app by using the Braille display and returning to the text again.
While reading I sometimes use the right rocker bar to check out the number of the current
page and how many pages are left until reaching the end of the chapter. It works well with some books but often the right rocker bar does nothing and VoiceOver makes a sound like the end of the screen has been reached. Same for the left rocker button. In other words: I can't leave the text using the Braille display. So I have to go back to the touch screen to control the app which wouldn't be a big problem. But that means that I have to find my position within the text again which takes time.
When I use the panning buttons on the left and on the right side of the display sometimes VoiceOver loses focus after a page gets turned and instead of focusing the next page it jumps on a different control in the app.
Any ideas? Are these issues only appearing with the Focus 40 or are they showing up independently from the Braille display that is used?
Thanks for your help!
