Braille on Apple Products
I'm a software developer with a very recent interest in braille support.
I typically write my application help in html, and I wondered how do the braille display devices handle it.
Say If I have a paragraph of flowing text in English, will the display automatically turn it to contracted braille?
How are headings, lists and other basic html elements handled?
Is there a difference in how Safari, which is the browser iPhone and iPad, behaves in comparison to UIWebView, which is the standard html display engine available for applications?
If I write html help for braille displays, are there formatting recommendations?
Thanks,
Harri
