Hi I just got the Hable1 and have a few questions after reading all the documentation I could find. 1 Can you type computer braille. 2 should you set it up from vo’s braille settings or bluetooth settings because it talks about bluetooth settings and that works but setting it up in vo also works but it is not respecting my computer braille settings. 3 it appears to have several manuals, and one of them mentions the functions manual, which I can’t seem to find anywhere, including on the website with the other manuals, any ideas where that might be. Lastly, 4 how do you type the at sign without computer braille. Sorry these end with full stops because I also could not figure out the question mark. Thank you.

Set it up under bluetooth settings. The at sign is entered by pressing dot 4 immediately followed by dot 1. The question mark is dots 2, 3, and 6. If you look at the manuals on the Hable site, the first manuals are the getting started guides. The second heading is the manual that lists all available commands. Below that you will find the different languages and if you choose your language it will list all of the symbols and how to enter them using the Hable.

Does it work by it self without a phone as a note taker? Just asking. Thanks.
Re: note taker
No it's not a note taker - it's purely a bluetooth keyboard. So it must be connected to an Android or iPhone to be of any use.
