You will need to transfer the music to a computer using a USB stick, SD card, or other removable media. Then you will need to use iTunes to transfter the music. There are many podcasts out there on how to do this. You can find some podcasts about iTunes on ApppleVis. You can also find a good podcast on iTunes 11 over at SF Cast. Thanks, Shersey

I don't have a computer. So I did some research and found out that the songs on the iPod shuffle are stored in a folder called iPod_Control/music. I tried copying music to that folder, but they still would not play on my iPod. Is there some kind of app, program or utility that I could try to use to make the iPod recognise the songs? It would need to be able to run on the iPod, because my Apex can not run programs.

As far as I'm aware, no, there is no way to do this. The only ways of getting music on to an iPod involve actually purchasing music from the iTunes store, or a computer to some degree. NO notetaker that I'm aware of has a program that will allow for this. Sorry.

what you will need to do is get a computer and some audio editing software to convert your files into .m4a format to play on your iPod. Then you'll have to download iTunes and show iTunes the folder you put the songs into. If you don't have these things then I'm sorry you wouldn't be able to do what you are wanting to do.
