Focus 40 5th Generation no longer seen by my iPhone?

Braille on Apple Products

Hello,
I was beta testing iOS & iPadOS 17.
Now that the "Release candidates" are out, I've installed them.
However, a few weeks ago, I was having issues between my Focus 40 Blue 5th Generation Braille display & my iPhone 13 pro max, which runs the RC of iOS 17.
Due to these issues, I had to unpair my braille display from the phone.
That's fine, however, I'd now like to pair it back to the phone & cannot do so.
This is because no matter what I do, the display does not appear in the "Braille" section of voiceover settings.
All appears to be going well with my iPad.
Has anyone seen this with the phone & might be willing & able to tell me how to resolve it?
I, personally, feel like I may have no choice but to restore & setup as, "new" once the actual update comes out on Monday.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

I have the Focus 40 4th Gen, and have had the exact same problem. If you check the bluetooth section in the settings, you will find your Focus, forget it from there and let's hope you can pair it again from the braille settings. My Focus 4th gen does not pair to my iDevices anymore, I can pair but it does not show anything. Wish you sort this out.

Good terrific Thursday morning,
I figured out why my braille display wouldn't connect to my iPhone.
I had to add it via the bluetooth settings before it would appear in Voiceover settings.
Also, after entering 0000 as the pairing code, I was unaware that a "pair" button existed, above the keypad, which I had to double-tap to initiate the connection.
All is well now, & both my iPho & iPad are connected to my braille display & I'm able to switch between them seemlessly.
