I will soon be getting an apex and would like to know what it's like to use it with an iPhone. I've never owned a notetaker or a braille display before, and I know the apex is a bit behind compared to the newer notetakers and braille displays, but I've used my best friend's apex before, I thought it was really nice and I loved it, so she's now sending me one.
Thanks

iPhone with BrailleNote Apex
From my experience, using a BrailleNote Apex with an iDevice is very laggy due to the fact that the Apex does not have remotely up-to-date specs. However, if you have to use it, the navigation is similar (for the most part) to how you would navigate the Apex's actual software (using the thumb-keys is your best bet). A word of warning though, the Apex won't be able to do much, since it is so antiquated, so connectivity will not be good. Hope this helps.
