Hi all. wondering if anyone can shead some light on an issue I am having. Whenever I have my Brailliant BI-x 20 turned on I cannot get it to disconnect at all and end up either unpairing it or turning off bluetooth. Surely I shouldn't have to do this just to use the on-screen keyboard intermittently. I am running Ios 15.1.1 and Ipan OS 15.1.1 also. I have literally unpaihed from both devices now as it really is getting on my merves. As i said above, even using the disconnect option under the Braille Display button in settings just disconnects and immediately reconnects again. Thanks for any advice.

You can enable the onscreen keyboard by pressing space with 1-4-6. you can also go to settings>accessibility>VoiceOver>braille, and then turning "always show onscreen keyboard" on. I understand the bug you are talking about though, the worst part is when you aren't even in range of the braille display and your onscreen keyboarddoesn't appear either. I have had that happen and was forced to restart each time. Turning VO off and back on didn't fix the issue for me.

Yep! That’s exactly the one. my device was downstairs and simply charging, though may have been on standby as I had been using it previously. I went to use my iPad upstairs and there was simply no keyboard. Can we pin this down to Apple or humanware?

This issue happens regardless of the display in use, so this would be something to report to Apple. However, try composing a message using your braille display in the Mail app, and you will see there are larger concerns for most at the moment. Not that this isn't important, but it was never given a priority and I've had this happen from time to time starting in iOS 7.
