The concept is really cool, and as far as I know, no one has done anything like this before. The quality of the games isn't fabulous, but not utterly horrible for an indie developer. I have the machine along with Bewilder, Ice Cold, and How Close is the Ghost. I'll be purchasing Psychotronic Mind and Bank Robbing Bunnies soon and reviewing them on my YouTube channel.

Being from the US, the system seems a little expensive for the type of games, but I was curious about such a unique product. I also found out that I had to pay a couple dollars separately later for duty fees or something. It would be nice to have a US reseller for this system and games.
When I do get the system, I will do a video spotlight on it for my YouTube channel, but I don't know when that will be just yet.
My bundle is now in the United States. Asking those who already have one, what headset is required. Monaural? What size plug for the jack on the unit? Can I get away with a cheapie? And where can the right one most easily be obtained? Thanks.
It uses a standard 3.5mm audio jack, so anything will work. Some of the ambience sounds in the games are stereo, but stereo isn't required to play in my experience. I'm pretty sure this is an intentional design choice, since the system is designed to be played by as many people as possible.
I got the bundle of 6 games with the unit last night. It's a fun system. I've only tried one game so far, and am exploring the maze in part 2 of 4. The unit is not meant for high quality sound, but it is good enough for game play. So farm the only thing missing are an indicator of remaing battery power for blind gamers and brailled laberls on the cartridge boxes. If you have a pair of smart glasses, that will solve those issues. Also, the online user's guide is not complete. It cuts off at where charging the battery is discussed. Overall, though, I'm happy with the purchase.

Not only does each decision you make change the outcome, but there are multiple endings to each episodes. Play through the first episode a second or third time and get a different ending. Then play through episode two and you encounter the same thing. The game's outcome is based on your decisitions, then considre the different endings, and so on as you play through the episodes until the game is finished. The bundle, including the console and 6 games, will give sons of gaming fun. I can't say enough about this gaming system other than it is well worth the investment if you enjoy audio adventure gaming.
It's my own fault. Even though I have all of the games, somehow I never have the time to sit down with it and really enjoy myself with them. I will fix that before I destroy the battery of the console through overcharging. But it probably says something rather sad that I've got more from the various reviews of the system than I have actual gameplay. Perhaps it also indicates that I'd not mind software emulation of this system, so I can ramp on quickly; maybe Truman will do it later?
I wasn't impressed with the lack of documentation for a blind person—I had to find online reviews to get a description—but the system is very easy to use and play once you've learned all the secret manoeuvres for controlling volume, pausing the game, resetting, etc. as described by Chris. And, yes, the quality of the games—especially the very earliest ones, like The Psychotronic Mind—are excellent fodder for exuberant mickey-taking. No doubt, some of this is entirely intentional, but it's obvious the sound design is being done on a budget.
So should you buy it? Yes, absolutely! Why wouldn't you want more joy in your life? Listen to the video reviews to get a feel, but definitely buy it and support the spirit of the thing. Perhaps one day it will be available in software, but until then, it's an open question where this thing goes, and you'll lose nothing if they ever do wind up.

It's not a bad little system. Yeah, some of the voice acting in some of the games is quite cheesy. I kind of almost like it though because it reminds me of the bad voice acting in so many mainstream 90's games like the steller voice work in the original Resident Evil games...
It's a little expensive, but you are paying for both the games and hardware. I got the full bundle of the system and 6 games too.
Sure, it adds to the character, even when it isn't intentionally funny. Absolutely, it's the story that really matters. Having done some cheesy sound design of my own, I'm certainly not judging!
