question about using specialized help on Be My Eyes on meta glasses

I had a question regarding using the specialized help feature in the Be My Eyes app and whether you can do this using the Meta glasses.

I know you can call a volunteer with them, but if you wanted to use the glasses camera for a specialized help call, say, for Hilton, could you do that?

I was assuming that if I called Hilton using the Be My Eyes app, then pressed the camera button on my glasses twice to turn the camera on, the video would switch to my glasses. Has anyone tried this?

Just curious, as I expect to use the option to video call a Hilton representative during an upcoming trip and it would be easier to be able to talk hands free with my glasses.

Hi. No, it’s not possible to call service directory partners from the glasses. It only works for calling volunteers right now.
Hopefully they will implement this though.

Indeed Alicia Krage
I confirm 100%, this functionality works by pressing twice on the capture button, this feature has been working since I was testing Be My Eyes beta last November.
I have tested it on several occasions and works perfectly fine!
What pressing twice the capture button actually does is transfer the video call to your glasses back&for.
What you need to do, Alicia, is start the call from Be My Eyes app, when the call is connected press the capture button twice and the video call will be transfer to your glasses, and so on. You have your hands free :)
I would recommend to use it Dave Nason and let us know if it works for you.
