Meta has changed the accessibility experience with messenger again, on the web this time

Tldr. It's just roled out for me. Now on messenger web desktop version, (btw the new official url will be fb.com/messages) in the message lists, there is no table, no heading. Fortunately ish, all messages are in their own article html tag like applevis forum messages, so with nvda at least you can press a and shift a by default to move between messages almost like before.
Good luck on macos though, I believe if we use the standard grouping behaviour we can always do vo shift left / right arrow to navigate between articles, in fact for once vo design helps even on mac imo. Note that I haven't tried this yet on mac, just speculation.
Just to reach as many people as possible.
Maybe I'm just part of AB testing!

Yeah, Messenger has been all around bad for a bit now. Unfortunately on the Android side, we don't even get names anymore in the message view, but rather a weird combination of numbers and letters. If we use talkback image description, we can find it that way, or so I've read. What I can say for certain, once you actually go in to the chat, it reads fine, but that knowing which chat is which is a royal pain.

Messenger for Android has received updates. However, the problem of text strings consisting of letters and numbers, beginning with "x"being read, instead of the information that is supposed to be read when touching a thread still persists.
