Has anybody been able to get / build the braillerap open source open hardware embosser?

Hi,
Question in the subject. If we can get an embosser in the sub thousands, then am very curious to know if there are people with actual reviews / feedbacks?
Also, I thought it was only able to produce braille but apparently it can also do some tactile graphics? How is the quality / resolution of the graphics produced?
