Apple Hardware and Compatible Accessories

The more I find myself fumbling around amongst all my cables for the right one to charge my phone, the more I think I need to embrace this wireless charging thing. I had a brief fling with it, getting a charging pad, but I found it flaky and hard to orientate and ensure I was charging the phone. I perused the hardware and accessorie reviews here, but no mention for wireless chargers. Is noone using them? In a perfect world I want something with a cradle I can drop the phone into, without having to worry about lining things up properly.

Hi:
I have an IPhone 8 in an Otterbox Defender case. Does anyone know if you can do wireless charging using this type of case? If so, what chargers would people recommend? Thanks.

I'm looking for a set of wireless headphones that I can use with my iPhone SE 2020 as well as with other non-Apple products. I have an Apple e-gift card that I want to use to make the purchase so the headphones will need to be sold in the Apple store, but I'm not that familiar with wireless technology so will I need to get something that is bluetooth and if yes will whatever else I want to use the headphones with also need to have bluetooth capability?

Hi,

I'm looking for a good quality wireless headphones with my iphone 5. Would anyone give me some recommendations?
I've browsed through the Apple store and found Beats Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones. Is it good and with quality stereo sound? Can it answer calls wirelessly? Any other suggested brands?

Thank you.

Hello, I am considering to buy a wireless keyboard to compliment my iPad mini and iPhone 4S -- I am a relatively new user of Apple products and don't know much about accesceries. I am willing to spend fifty dollars or more...brand name is not important, looking for something compatible with IOS 7, and preferably compact size. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Arjun

Hello all,
I am wanting to find a wireless keyboard that I can easily switch back and forth between my Mac and my PC. I do not want a bluetooth one because I have issues with my windows machine and bluetooth. I want to be able to unplug a usb dongle from the Mac and move it to the PC when I want to switch. I am trying to save some desk space because I now own an Orbit Reader braille display and need a spot to place it on my desk.

Thanks,
Greg Wocher

Hi all, I'm running the latest iOS on an iPhone SE. About five or ten minutes ago, I noticed that my phone had dropped to 98% while it was still on the charger. I have not taken my phone off the charger for about a week or so. I always keep my phone connected to the charger when I'm at home so it will be fully charged up the next time I need to go out. Thinking my phone was just having a minor glitch, I turned it off, waited about ten to fifteen seconds, then turned it back on. In that span of about twenty or thirty seconds, my phone had dropped to 95%.

Hi all.

I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro and I'm debating whether it's worth upgrading to the 15 Pro. I'm considering the Pro because I like using the Detection Mode - Text Detection is so much better than Seeing AI, in my opinion.

I'm a VoiceOver user, so obviously don't care about the screen or camera quality much (obviously it's important for blindie apps). USB-C would be a nice-to-have, as is the Action Button. Having a better battery would probably be the key reason why I'd upgrade, as well as a speed boost.

I am thinking about acquiring my first iPhone. Is there any reason not to purchase an s.e.? Thanks

Hi all. I am considering buying a pair of Aftershokz Bluez for work purposes, to run VoiceOver through, as I need a headset over my ears for taking phone calls, and don't want both coming through the same earpiece. Would people recommend this approach? Are people generally happy with Aftershokz Bluez? How would you rate the battery?
I have a pair of wired Aftershokz but want to cut down on the number of wires. Also, mine came out before the Bluez so I wondered if there may have been some general improvements in the headset.
Thanks, Dave.

The headset connects to the iPad fine, the problem is with voiceover not going through. Youtube audio and music will go through the headset just fine, but voiceover is still going through the iPad speakers. Sometimes after a few minutes, voiceover will start going through the headset as well, but sometimes it doesn't. The funny thing is as soon as I connect my headset to the iPad, voiceover will start talking in super speed to the point I can't understand it. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have an I pad air. I purchased a Zag folio keyboard case for it many months ago. It worked beautifully until I updated to ios 8.1. Since I did this, the keyboard does not work at all. I have since updated to ios 8.12 and the Bluetooth keyboard still does not work. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any input in advance, Karen Wood

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5s and I am considering buying the ZAGG Pocket Universal wireless Bluetooth keyboard. Has anyone used this keyboard with the iPhone? If so, how did you like it? Were the keys big enough? Did all the VO keys work OK? Are there any other issues to watch out for?

All the best,

Cearbhall

The past few months have not gone over very well at Apple. On the software side of things, we have seen patch after patch for every version of 'OS' that Apple designs. For the longest time I refused to update an iPhone due to the overwhelming reports of VoiceOver bugs, and instability, since September's initial release of iOS 17.0

Of course we've all, at the very least, skimmed over the various posts of things that were broken, buggy, or simply no longer worked as they did in earlier versions of iOS.
