At long last, we now have tactile screen protectors for the current generation of apple iOS devices. These include: iPhone 5, the iPad mini, and the iPod touch 5th generation.

We would also like to apologize for the delay. We intended to have all of this available in October, but we tried to change designers for our templates, and the product we received, was not up to our standards. So, even though it put us behind schedule, we are using our normal person and we have the quality we feel comfortable selling; and that our customers have come to expect.

So when out of the case the iPad locks just fine, but when I have the keyboard connected and closed the iPad won't lock. VoiceOver continuously keeps saying the time and how ever many notifications I have. How do I fix this? Also is there a way to make the track pad use the same gestures as on the actual screen? I tried the VO clockwise turn on the track pad I would have done on mac, but no luck.

Hello again,

I was wondering if there is a way to switch the on screen keyboard when in a text field using a bluetooth keyboard?
Thank you so much

Hi all.

I am currently working with a voiceover user who has very limited use of her hands. She is able to use the home button and she can use Siri to perform most tasks but she can't answer the phone. I have been able to get switches working without voiceover, but it seems you can't use voiceover at the same time as switches which is a real limitation.

Hi all,
I’m currently rocking a Series 4 Apple Watch, so it’s about time I looked at upgrading this year. I seriously considered getting a Series 9 last year, but decided to hold off and see what the Series 10, or perhaps Series X, is like in late 2024.
However while the software on the Apple Watch is clearly very good, I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the hardware design, especially the square shape. So I wonder are there any good alternatives out there that can be used alongside an iPhone and have an on board screen reader.
Cheers,
Dave

so, I just stumbled on the hardware review by "A Woman" and Scott's AccessWorld review of the Dot Watch, a Braille smart watch. I really want this thing. Unlike an Apple watch, which doesn't really add anything to my personal use cases, the Dot Watch would allow me to check incoming calls, texts, and security camera alerts while I'm in a meeting or teaching a class. Because sometimes, I gotta know, and it has to be the tactile equivalent of a glance. Filling that need, the Dot Watch or similar seems like it could become a basic piece of blind tech.

Hi folks!

First, I'd like to apologize if I’m not creating this thread in the right forum, but I cannot find a general hardware related forum. Knowing headsets are Apple compatible, I’ll post this here, but feel free to move this post elsewhere if needed.

Have read some hints on-line that the "ENDEAVOUR Bluetooth Multimeter" might have an accessible app. I already have a standalone, talking multimeter, but the concept of having one that can go in my iPhone accessory kit is interesting.

I’d like to try Street Fighter, but I don’t think I manage to play very well with onscreen buttons.
So, has anyone tried one of those gamepads or game controllers? Any preferences? Are they at the same time with Apple TV and iPad?
I’ve also heard that some Sony Playstation controllers are capable to connect via Bluetooth with iOS devices. Does anyone know anything about that?

Thanks in advance for any help, folks.

Cheers,

Xavier

Hello. This is Jane.
I use a mid 2012 MacBook pro and ned of a charger. it's the L-style one.
I bought one from apple for $60 and it lasted about 11 months.
I bought one from Amazon for $24 and it lasted me a month.
I take my mac to school everyday and need a stirty charger that will do ok with the ocational cord bending.
To bad, we can't get any old laptop charger or USb to charge it up.

I never use the iPhone with an external Bluetooth keyboard, but i’d like to have a way that I can enter text instead of dictating sometimes. Does anyone here have any recommendations for a specific product that works well?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone lese is having an issue with lagging with their jambox. When I have my jawbone jambox parred with my iPhone 4s, there is a lag when I am swipping or typing in letters on the iphone. Also if I don't touch the iPhone for a few seconds then go to use the iPhone the behavior sems like something has gone to sleep because voiceover can't be heard for a couple of seconds. It seems like something is waking up. Don't know if this is a jambox issue, or an IOS 5 issue, not sure where to turn. Thanks for any help.

Hello: I am considering the merits/feasibility of using a FreedomPop WiFi device with my iPhone 4S for internet access. The 4G service is not available in my area, but 3G is. I think 3G may be free, but I am not 100 percent clear on this. I understand that 3G is slower, but if it is actually free I can deal with this. It is my understanding that FreedomPop uses Sprint's 3G network. However, this shouldn't matter if I am connecting to the FreedomPop device via WiFi.

Hi All!

I bought my wife an iPhone 15 pro for an early Christmas present, and now we're trading in her old iPhone Xs, but we have around 6 or so battery cases for her old iPhone Xs. does anyone want the battery cases, anyone who lives in the US?If so, please email me your mailing address, and I'll ask my wife to mail them to you. Smile. The cases all work great. They double your battery life or more.

My email address is bbh at mind dot net.

Smile. Merry Christmas!

Joy!

Hey guys, Just purchased the Freedom Pro Bluetooth Keyboard. Has anyone found a website that lists where all the keys are located. If not, and someone is using it, can you let me know where the control, option/altt, command keys are located. Also can you let me know where these hot keys and special keys are located? Thanks so much.
