Hey folks, just wondering if anyone knows which is the oldest Apple watch to still get this year's updates. I really don't use half the stuff the Apple watches can do. Really, they just end up being glorified talking watches, that also let me check my glucose via the dexcom complication, maybe once in a blue moon take a phone call. Even though I try to stay pretty active, I could care less about closing circles and all that. I'm looking for something with a decent battery and will still be up to date when I get it, and at a bare minimum get the update this fall. I know there are often decent deals on the SE2, which I can get new, but looking at maybe going renewed to save a few bucks. I just want to make sure I know how far back is to far back. Thanks in advance for the info.

watchOS 11
At a minimum, you'll need an Apple Watch 6 or SE second generation, though I recommend getting a slightly newer model if you can afford it. I guarantee Apple will be dropping those models next year with watchOS 12.
