Hi again!
I have an iPhone 16 Pro, and I use Braille Screen Input regularly in screen away mode. I also have an unstable joint at the base of my right thumb, so I experience thumb and wrist pain if I hold my phone for too long. I have tried supporting the charger side with my right palm, but that muffles the speaker to the point where I can't reliably hear VoiceOver.
My current phone case is falling apart, so I figured I might as well shop around for something more ergonomic to replace it.
I used Claude AI to describe some options from Amazon, and it seems like most of the ergonomic cases are designed for holding the phone with one hand while operating it with the other. That doesn't really work for Braille Screen Input users.
Has anyone found a case that makes the phone easier to hold while in screen away mode? Alternatively, is there a way to hold the phone that reduces hand strain? Thanks for any input!
