Apple Beta Releases

Hi Guys,
So the bug where the app switcher is not available with VO is still there in release two. My question is this is the first time I've installed the beta so not sure if I create a 2nd feedback bug report. In other words I reported it before this release, it hasn't been fixed so do I report again or as I've already submitted a bug report just leave it. Any advice/help appreciated.

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

I’d say unless Apple requests that you create a new report, you should just leave it. You may want to check on the report every once in a while to see if additional information is requested to better troubleshoot the issue..

iPad 9 gen and iOS 16 recent beta. No issues. Was able to open it with my keyboard. Did several times.

If you've already reported it in the previous beta, you can comment on your original report. :) At least, that's what I've been doing.

To do this, in the feedback app, hit submitted, tap on the report you want to leave a comment on, hit the "actions" button, then tap the "add more information" button, then write your comments in the edit field. When you're finished, tap on submit.

Thanks people. Will update current report. In terms of using the switcher I wonder if it works with keyboards but not gestures. I don't have a keyboard to try this theory. Does anyone else have a keyboard and can access the switcher? Also, I'm not sure it is every user who has the issue. I only know it is a real pain. Tried using the sighted way of doing this by turning off vo and then back on and it is hit and miss. Half the time the gesture locks the phone lol.

In the Feedback application, go to the bug report you created. on the top, there’s an actions button. double tap it. There is an add more information button. Double tap that, and then add the information that you would like to submit. I also created a bug report for the app switcher issue. It’s FB10945124 (When opening app switcher, focus is not on most recently opened application for voiceover user.)
