Hello Applevis,
Following this set of instructions (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/enabling-developer-mode-on-a-device) I've trying to enable developer mode on my iphone so I can opt in the beta firmware of my airpods. However, When I turn the switch on and then iphone prompts to restart and I hear the corresponding shutdown and booting up sounds, my iphone is unresponsive. Voiceover doesn't turn on, nor am I able to toggle mute / unmute (my usual very non scientific method of knowing when iphone is having problems or not). After 1-2 minutes of that, I tried this twice and I am able (don't know how) to somehow force reboot my iphone by only holding the side button for quite awhile. And of course then my iphone is back to normal and under settings privacy and security security developer mode is still at off.
Is anyone able to help me? I run xcode 16 beta 3, macos sequoia beta 3 on m2 and iphone 14 on ios18 beta 3.
