Hello,
This post is to inform everyone that the OS26.1 release candidates are here for both public & developer beta testers!
I did not test during this beta cycle, so would greatly appreciate hearing about anything & everything that's new, good or bad, in the comments below, especially, as it pertains to Voiceover.

Share Your Bug Reports with AppleVis

If you experience a bug in Apple Beta Software, the most important thing you can do is to file a report in Feedback Assistant. Please do not assume that Apple is already aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference; your report may provide crucial information, and submitting bug reports directly to Apple helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority Apple is likely to give to fixing the bug.

If you are using beta software, please use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you are using a public release, this blog post explains how to report the issue and what information to include.

In 2025, AppleVis launched the Community Bug Reporting Program with the goal of improving the quality and quantity of information we share with the community about bugs in Apple software releases. If you would like to contribute to this effort, please submit your reports via our Community Bug Report Form.

All reports shared with AppleVis must first be filed with Apple via Feedback Assistant. More information about the Community Bug Program is available here.

How long does it tend to be until this build becomes the public release?

I keep hopping on the beta, testing, then regretting in things like the TV app where the title of episodes seems to have vanished. Of course, it is beta, or the previous versions are at least, so there is stuff that is being shaken down. I do seem to have noticed this more in apps like Shortcuts and TV during this cycle.

If there is no second RC, next week. Also FYI, the issue with notification and voiceover continue in my 16 pro max. Long live cats.

Notifications as stated is not fixed in this release. Nor is the native weather app. Scrolling does no longer work for checking the 10 day forecast. Been around since PB 2 of 26.1.
