Just a quick update, battery life on my m4 ipad pro is seemingly a lot better than it was on 17. It was really quite bad before, and would drain a lot over night as well. It’s really holdingup on the standby time, but it’s also holding up really well in general usage.
I did have a weird issue earlier where it heated up out of nowhere and dropped off about 5% in seconds, but cooled down after that and ran fine, so maybe it was a background process of some sort.
Also, I'm aware this is beta 1, it can get better, and it can get worse, but my experience of iPadOS 18 so far has been about 90% positive, the only thing I did get was I was losing speech this morning when using the iPad, but its much less than the iPhone is doing it, that seems to like going quiet on me, but yeah, its a bonus, the beta is really stable on my iPad and also appears to have fixed my battery issues.
How are your iPads holding up in terms of battery life? Any improvements for you?
