Apple Beta Releases
Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms
Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.
If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

time and notification
Please tell me that VO no longer reads the time whenever you get notification. Is making me nuts.
Time seems fixed
The way it reads the time is fixed.
As for notifications I have mine set to not speak. I’ll have to take a look and get back to you on that one
Voiceover and the new journal app.
Voiceover goes quiet when recording audio in the new journal app. If you start recording there isn't a way to find the stop button.
it broke my ipad
Hi,
I was so excited about the new journal app, that I installed the beta onto my iPad. I was doing something in Microsoft edge as it installed.
When the installation was finished, my iPad completely froze up to the point that it affected Microsoft edge to where I could not read the screen I was on at all. I ended up having to restore back to 17.1 and now cannot put my email back on the device.
Due to these issues, I am extremely hesitant to put this beta on my phone.
Has anyone tested to see if this update fixes the issue with mail and misspelled words when auto capitalization and other text prediction settings are disabled has been fixed?
spell check issue still exists
I'm off to report that it is still present.
Journal app on iPad
As of this release, the app is only available for the iPhone.
As for your issues, I’m not completely sure as to why it would have affected your iPad like that. My advice would be to hold off installing it on your phone if you’ve had those issues.
Before downgrading, did you file any report to apple by any chance?
Journal app and voiceover audio
Just a quick suggestion. Have you tried the 2 finger double tap to stop recording?
I couldn’t use my iPad
Hi,
Due to how badly the installation of 17.2 locked up my iPad, I was literally unable to use it for anything.
How to know what a beta update includes
Hi there,
Being new to the iOS public beta program, I noticed that nothing was written about what is new and what is to test in an update, while new features are clearly exposed in public official releases. Does it mean one has to test everything on his device before they can find out what's new? Please give me a clue.
Cheers,
JPR
Finding out what's new in the beta
Apple links to the release notes for every beta update right on the Software Update screen in Settings before you install said update. You can't miss them - they've been there for just about every beta release published over the past few years. And honestly if you don't read the release notes before you install a beta version of software, or at least glance at them to see known issues, new features, and fixed bugs (all of which can help you determine whether it would be wise to run the beta on your device), then you're probably not Apple's target audience for these pre-release software versions anyways and are likely better off just using stable software meant for the technically inept.
Regardless, the release notes for the iOs and iPadOS 17.2 betas can be found here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ios-ipados-release-notes/ios-ipados-17_2-release-notes#
