Apple Beta Releases

Ok guys not a show stopper by any means but something I will report to Apple. However, as it is so small I think I could be waiting for sometime for a solution. Basically, after several days of using the phone after the update from the locked screen using the apple swipe up from the bottom to open the screen the phone acts normally. If however, I use my custom gesture to open the phone VO hangs for about 3 seconds then plonks me in the status bar. As I say doesn't happen immediately after updating so it is a strange one. A hard reset does solve it again for several days. Using iPhone 13 pro.

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

Question what is it?

Hello, 4 finger swipe down. No idea why I chose that it was years ago.

Yep thought of trying that. Problem is I can't for the life of me find out how if it is even possible to remove a gesture. You can reassign one or reset all of them but removing one seems to be impossible. Always possible I'm missing something but it isn't obvious if so.

You can edit your gesture for a four-finger swipe down or you can simply reset VO back to defaults. I have four fingers swiping down for next heading and swipe up for previous heading.

I will, as always recommend that the most basic troubleshooting be performed. Delete settings. See if the issue persists. If it does, then it is a bug. If it doesn’t, then it is not a bug. There are sometimes issues with downloading and installing the, various software releases, and sometimes code gets corrupted.
