has anyone else noted now that in mail for ios 18,2, after the date and time it was sent you hear updates, transactions, etc?
I can't seem to stop this behaviour not even in the ios mail settings.

Any tip? running a 14 pro max.

Not upgrading to anything higher as no real reports on this new siri etc.

Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms

Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.

If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

Open Mail. It will likely open up to inbox, or whatever last folder/mailbox you had open. Tap the back button if necessary to get to your entire list of mailboxes. Tap on edit. Now, navigate through this list, and uncheck those new folders. Tap on done when finished or save or whatever the button is called.

That should do it for you.

In the iOS 18.2 mail app, the default is now to show mail notes by category.

This can be changed to the original look of Mail by hitting the "More" button at the top of the page and selecting "List".

Hope that helps.
