Dear all,
My name is Dax and I'm graduating as an iOS Developer at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam
I've been making iOS applications for over 2 years now, most of them focussed on visual impaired users.
For my graduating research I'm investigating the following:
How can I develop an iOS application that makes it easy for visually impaired to write and share reviews, allowing visually impaired, expertise and iOS developers to gain insight into the quality and usability of iOS applications for visually impaired people.
The application is far from finished, but I need to validate the usability the whole proces.
What will the application do:
- Search for an application in the App Store;
- Review the application on different levels of accessibility;
- The review will be saved in a database. We won't save and ask for any sensitive personal data;
- You can view the the best and the worst reviewed applications;
- And maybe more!!
By the way:
I know what you all think. Applevis did this and they did it good.
That's exactly what I want. How can I make it better.
I hope I've informed all of you enough.
If you would like to know more:
please send me an email to: dax.rahusen@gmail.com
Important: The application is localized (translated) in English and Dutch.
Greetings,
Dax Rahusen

An Apple Vis App?
As you note, Applevis did it already. Is it possible your app could be the often asked for app for the site?
Re: Apple Vis App?
No, not at all.
I don't know nothing about about the frequently asked app for the website.
But we never know how things work out ;-)
