Native pop-up menu audio indications

Hi everyone, I'm examining audio indications for pop-ups, combo boxes and screens with menu selections and want to ask if you think an auditory announcement of a pop-up is necessary. For example, when hyou have an app open and select something, there is a sound that indicates something that has appeared on the screen. You also hear this sound each time you open and close an app or unlock the iOS device. Now, if you are given a pop-up with a selection of option on it, for example the language menu under the iPad language settings, is the native sound indicating something has appeared enough to indicate that you need to survey the screen to find what is there, or do you expect a description with the pop-up? I have noted that there is not usually a description of what is on the screen when something pops up or closes in the native settings for the iOS devices. Thanks in advance for your answers.

For me, the sound is enough to indicate that something has opened and that I should scan the screen to look at it. In addition, the first element of the window is usually announced by voiceOver as the window appears, which makes it rather clear.
