I am wondering, how can i get in touch with the people at KNFB. Recently i bought KNFB, however, i did not get the 50% discount but was charged the full price for the same. Please help.

If you are absolutely sure the price read $49.99 when you hit the purchase button, I'd contact Apple for assistance. There is usually a link to request a refund in the receipt Apple e-mails you after a purchase.
It's worth noting, though, that it's very unlikely you'll be able to get the app at the previous sale price.

After doing some research, it appears that the KNFBReader deal went live on or around January 28, 2015 and concluded on or around February 6, 2015.
So, if you purchased the app on 1/19/2015, this is probably why you were charged the full price.
