Hi everyone!
I’ve always wanted to learn Arduino because I would love to create useful tools for myself and for other people around me. Since I work with accessibility, I think this could become both very useful and very fun.
But until today, the only accessibility-focused resource I found was the Blind Arduino Blog:
There is also the Blind Arduino Project page:
So I thought: there must be AppleVis users here who know at least a little about Arduino and electronics.
Maybe we could use this space to share experiences and tips: - accessible software and IDE workflows, - how to identify pin layouts by touch, - safe ways to connect components, - prototyping techniques, - project ideas, - accessible tools and measurement devices, - and anything else that may help blind makers get started.
I know absolutely nothing yet, but I’m starting to learn now. And when I do learn something, it would be a joy to share it with others too.
Would anyone like to learn together?
