iTunes 12 update and BARD books

I just updated iTunes 12 last night. As I have still not figured out how to extract BARD books into BARD mobile from iTunes 12, I thought I would check out the iTunes Help. No matter what I tried, this was totally inaccessible to Jaws 16.0.1925.

As the BARD Mobile app is still not allowing me to move to the next 50 items in Get Books without kicking me back to my Home Screen, I thought I would check the iTunes Help about document sharing. No go!

Hi I suggest use different screen reading for the moment while apple release a new iTunes version. just ended record some iTunes 12.12 version using Jaws version 14 and my surprise was it not read some categories from tree view on iTunes library one more thing is some label buttons couldn't be read for Jaws making impossible select What do you want to sync to your iOS device.
I tried for a beat NVDA and Window Eyes and both works fine.
I don't know if other different Screen reading going help to you specific category but should you try.

Jaws 16 hasn't yet been released.

Hi,
Ahh, so they have as it seems. I don't use windows so my knowledge of this over priced software is no longer up to date like it use to be.

Yep, it pays to read first to find out if a version of the software in question has actually been released, this being jaws. Remember, folks, you can download bard books from directly within the app. also, you can use Dropbox to import books into BARD mobile. I never use iTunes so the ways I mentioned above are the norm for me. In case you're curious, simply place the zipped version of the book into the root of your dropbox folder, that is make sure it's not inside of anyone's shared folders. Next, wait for it to upload so you know it's up there. Next, open the dropbox app on your iOS device and find the file you just uploaded and double-tap on it. It'll extract, which may take a few minutes but VoiceOver should give you the percentage of what's happening. When it's done, double-tap on the share button and you'll be given a few choices, the one you'll be interested in is open in. double-tap on that, and one of your choices should be open in bard mobile. double-tap on that and the book will open in bard mobile and you should be able to listen to the book as normal.

As previously noted, loading via Dropbox works well except that the "doorbell" indicating processing is done does not sound on my iPhone 5 when doing things this way.

I have no trouble uploading via iTunes and JAWS 16, though. BTW, rearranging apps usint iTunes had *never* worked with screen-readers.

One more thing: if you don't use a product, it seems a bit of a muchness to say it's over-priced, especially since this depends upon what you use the product for.

I don't like browsing for books in the Bard app. To get around this, I go to the Bard web site on my computer, find the books I want, then add them to my wish list. From there, I then use the Bard app on my phone to download the books from the "Get Books" tab where you can find your wish list. I hope this helps someone.
