Hi my friends:
AM thinking of creating a petition for making telegram more accessible on IOS, they made some small progress from a long time, but they stopped, and this app became so. important because it has some features that even Whatsapp does not have it.
but my Language may not help me, also to find a good accessible site for making a petition, so, if anyone here can create a petition for making Telegram accessible, and i can spread it out, and let's see what we can do to convince the Telegram company to help us more.

I agree this is needed. Maybe those that use Voice over should message their Support and ask them to implament support for Voice over and tell them what it is.

I already tried to do this, and have been trying since 2016. their support has never once ansered any of my emails. In fact I get no convormation they even make it but a "thank. We'll get back to you" deal.

On android it's much much better

I bought a cheap phone just to use Telegram on it, and Telegram is somewhat accessible on Android 10, so strange really

good luck. you will never hear from them. I've never gotten emails even after 3 years or so. It's beter making an app via their API.

I've used it. It works, except when you want to access the links. all of them are unlabeled. I contacted them about this in 2017, 2018. 2019, you get the point.

A bit clunky but not too bad

I actually don't find the iOS app too bad.

It has some quirks but like some websites, once you get used to the quirks, it's pretty good.

Now, if you want to get into administering groups and such, then it gets much more fiddly.

but, using the iOS app in combination with Unigram for windows 10, it does pretty much what I want it to do.

Does accessibility need improving, yes of course, but to say it's unuseable is an exhageration.

I took it off my phone as I access links etc. That part is 100 percent inaccessible. Also the way it reads out time displays. I don't need to know I've ben talking for 600 seconds. also, it used to crash when I would delete a message. Btw, all of this has already been sent to the telegram team since about 2017-2019 .

agree with Ramy. Denis, do you have the option to creating this interaction between Telegram developpers in order to explain our accessibility issues with that program?

Yeah, as others have already said, it is useless. You will never get any response. And also others said that unigram is acessible. Yeah, of course it is, but we also have lots of mac users, for me it is not convinient to switch from mac to windows only to use the telegram app. The accessibility issues are also that you cannot switch the language of the telegram app when you switched the language of the phone. So I believe the petition is needed.
