Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone on here has ever worked in Apple Store. It is my dream to work there and for the last hour or so I have been reading experiences of many people who have worked or are working there now. I'm curious to see if anyone who is blind/visually impaired and has worked or is currently working there now.
Thank you for all of the responses.
Have a great night.

Hi there,
So I have never worked there myself but there's an Apple store in Salt Lake City that employs a guy that is blind. Last time I was there he was at one of the tables talking about a Mac to someone.
I don't know if the someone was blind or not but the employee I talked to about him said that he's great at his job and that if I ever needed help he'd be the best one to ask.
Maybe I should go back in there and talk with him myself!

Hi. This is awesome!!! If you could give me his name that would be great! Can I have the store's phone number if you can find it? I wonder if I could ask if anyone who is blind works there. Not sure if those kind of things are confidential.
Thank you so much!!!!
Have a great day.

I don't know his name and I have only been in the store once while he was there but I'll try to find out.
Here is the phone number to the store. I'm sure if you ask nicely they might be able to put you in contact with him. If nothing else maybe you could just leave him a message.

I'm currently stalking Reddit, Google, and Facebook to see if I can find any mention of him lol. Just in case you need it here's the link to their store website.

Becca, I work at an Apple store and would be glad to anser some of your questions. can you write me privately? If you need contact info let me know and thanks. I will say it's a very rewarding experience and my fuzzy sun has made lots of friends. Have a great day and let me know how I can help.

Becca:
I am the blind employee from the salt Lake City store. Let me know your preferred contact method, and I'll reach out to you privately.
Mike, if you want to come into the store to meet with me at some point, I'd be willing to do that too. In your case, contact the store and give them your details if I'm not in so we can set up a time to meet. All of that sort of stuff is best handled officially and while I'm on the clock when possible.

Hi everyone. I totally forgot to mention my location. That was pretty stupid of me! Haha. Anyway, I live in Pennsylvania, but would still love to reach out to you all. This is very encouraging because my dream job is to work at Apple. Thank you for the feedback.
Have a great day

Hello,

Once upon a time when I was young and could still see, I worked at a retail store. I would stock merchandise, inventory, assist customer and used a register to ring up sales.

So I am curious, what job functions do you have at the Apple store? It sounds great and it’s something I would like to try if the oppourtunity comes along.

Thanks.
