Sometimes, VoiceOver does not speak the time when the device is woken with the Side Button.
In our experience, the presentation of this issue is very intermittent. When the issue does occur, it usually happens multiple times in a row. Additionally, if the device is woken but VoiceOver does not speak the time, you may find that VoiceOver does speak the time once Face ID authenticates and the device unlocks.
