character and word echo is too slow when using Eloquence with Braille Screen Input

Category
Braille
Severity
Minor

Description

The echoing of characters and words with Eloquence is too slow to let me use this voice when typing with BSI. This is especially noticeable with contractions like ED or THE; when Eloquence reads these back as it echoes the character I've typed, it's as though there are a few commas between each of the letters in the contraction. Alex, at least, speaks the letters fast enough for me to hear most or all of them before I start typing. At the very least, I don't have to pause as long as I do with Eloquence.

Steps to reproduce

1. Select Eloquence as your speech (I use Reed).
2. Use BSI in a text field, using contracted braille.
