Today has seen another round of software updates from Apple. In addition to iOS 12.1.3, Apple has released macOS Mojave 10.14.3, watchOS 5.1.3, and tvOS 12.2.1.

According to MacRumors , no new features or changes were found in the beta cycles of either macOS 10.14.3 or watchOS 5.1.3, suggesting that the focus of these releases is on bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements.

The release notes for macOS 10.14.3 via MacRumors confirm that most users are unlikely to notice any changes in this update:

This update improves the security, stability, and compatibility of your Mac and includes the following enterprise content: When making a file-sharing connection that uses a valid Kerberos TGT to authenticate, users are no longer prompted to enter credentials.

Apple does not traditionally provide release notes for tvOS, so it's still unknown what improvements of fixes are included with tvOS 12.1.2. However, it's likely to focus on under-the-hood performance improvements and bugs that have been discovered since the release of tvOS 12.

At the time of posting, we are not aware of any fixes, changes, or regressions for blind or low vision users in any of today's software releases. If you encounter any changes during your own use of the software, please let us know by adding a comment below.

How to Update

macOS Mojave introduced a new method of installing software updates - you now open System Preferences and select the "Software Update" option.

watchOS 5.1.3 is available by going to the Watch app on your iPhone and navigating to General> Software Update. To install the update, your Watch must be connected to its charger and have at least 50% battery power.

To install tvOS 12.1.2, go to the Settings channel then look for the System section near the bottom. From here, look for Software Updates under Maintenance, then select Update Software and Download and Install.

As always, we look forward to hearing your thoughts on these updates.
