Apple has today released iTunes 12.4.1 to the public, bringing bug fixes for VoiceOver and other features.
According to Apple's release notes via MacRumors, iTunes 12.4.1 includes the following improvements:
This update addresses a number of problems where iTunes doesn't work as expected with VoiceOver. It also restores the option to Reset Plays and fixes the following issues:
- Up Next may have unexpectedly played songs added together in the incorrect order.
- iTunes was prevented from crossfading between songs.
At this time, it is unclear the extent of the VoiceOver improvements in iTunes 12.4.1. However, one of our testers noted that the issue with some list views not being read by some Windows screen readers has been resolved. If you encounter any accessibility-related fixes or regressions in this release, please let us know in the comments section below.
Coming less than 3 weeks after the release of version 12.4, Apple’s Accessibility Team must be commended for so quickly addressing the problems which were introduced in that release for screen reader users.
iTunes 12.4.1 is available via Software Update on Mac OSX, Apple Software Update on Windows, or at http://www.apple.com/iTunes/download.

First Time Trying Out Cross-Fading
This was actually my first time trying out the cross-fading feature, whether or not it works in previous versions. I updated my Mac this morning before I left for my parents' house. I briefly checked out the update to iTunes this afternoon. Cross-fading seems pretty cool. I've mainly been busy getting ready for my Genius Bar appointment on Monday afternoon, but I will definitely play around with iTunes some more.
may still be a Voice-over bug
With version 12.4, I could never get rid of the section that tells you about what has been selected. It's sort of a tour that I could not get away from. It changed based on what was selected--music, apps, and so on. The same is so with this newer version. I cannot get to where it shows what app updates are available or where to install them into the library before syncing my phone. I have selected apps, and I still see this "apps introduction". Anny help is appreciated.
Is it because you haven't…
Is it because you haven't downloaded any apps from the iTunes store in to your iTunes library? Also, another bug I'm still noticing is when I'm using JAWS 15 on Windows 8.1 with iTunes, JAWS does not read the list of apps for some reason. However, JAWS will still read the list of songs. Is anyone else still having this issue?
apps and updating them
When I check for available downloads, it says that all available apps have been downloaded onto this computer. If I use the "devices" button and select my iPhone, it shows that there over 140 apps on the phone. I did a backup, and it still does not show me any button to "check for updates" when choosing "apps from the list of what I can view. I'm thinking that the visual tutorial is hiding what I need to work with, so this is why I am looking for a way to no longer show this.
updating apps on iTunes 12.34.1 for Mac OS X
iTunes 12.4.1 on Mac OSX
there a voiceOver improvement updating apps
when came out the iTunes version 12.4 was brake the option to update only certain apps, only given the option of update all.
on this new version came back the option of update certain apps or selecting that you wanna update giving to you 2 choices
selecting certain apps to update or
updating all apps.
how is it done?
You say that we now have the options of selecting which updates to update or to update all, but you did not say how this is accomplished, which is my question that hasn't been answered. Thanks.

itunes for windows 9.4.1 not working for me
I have jaws latest 17 and windows 10 latest updates and latest iTunes. The listviews, side bar and general navigation abilities aren't working for me. I'd be curious if others are finding this to be true.
The same thing.
Exactly the same thing happen to me and I'am using JAWS 17 on windows 10..
JAWS
Well that's what happens when you use a product put out by a company who don't bother putting any effort into maintaining it. iTunes for Windows works fine with NVDA and Window-Eyes, so where do you think the problem lies?
