We are pleased to announce the two apps chosen this month by users of the AppleVis website for induction into our iOS App Hall of Fame.
Our goal for the Hall of Fame is to showcase the passion and hard work that developers put into creating great apps that are fully accessible to VoiceOver users, and we think both of your choices are worthy inductees.
The first inductee is Dropbox, an app that makes it quick and easy to share and synchronize files across multiple devices and platforms. Not only does this make it tremendously useful as a standalone application, but it also adds significant value and functionality to many other apps.
The second app to be inducted is HeyTell, a voice messaging application that allows you to talk instantly with family and friends. Its ease of use and accessibility has gained it a strong following among VoiceOver users.
We hope you all agree that these apps richly deserve their places in the Hall of Fame.
Thank you to everybody who voted.
The March vote is now open, and this month there are eight apps to choose from, none of which have featured in a previous vote. It's a diverse and interesting mix of apps, all of which have been nominated by AppleVis users.
We have decided that only one app will now be inducted each month, which means that it is even more important that you cast your vote for the app that you think most deserves a place in our Hall of Fame.
Head over to the main Hall of Fame page to see which apps have been nominated this month and to cast your vote.
