How do you bring up the casting menu? Version 13.2.0 and iOS 14.1. I cannot find the device select buton.

I have apple-tv 4th gen and I found that this app is not Siri compatible. I called NetFlix and they said it was not compatible. You cannot talk to this app. You cannot use the touchpad easily with this app. Each time I tried to move from top to bottom in selecting a movie it would jump back into my profile.

Larry:
I also have a Fourth Gen AppleTV and use NetFlix with Voiceover quite easily. I don't use it with Siri as I don't find Siri on AppleTV to be all that helpful. In terms of navigating the app, one thing to try is to go in to settings on the AppleTV and change the touch cursor tracking to slow. I think this is found in the remotes section. This helps the Voiceover cursor to be not so jumpy when navigating all apps on the AppleTV. Also, make sure you are navigating right and left instead of up and down as sometimes Netflix puts things in rows. Finally, when you find a category you want, such as home, be sure to select it by clicking on the remote.
Hope this helps.
Jim

Thanks very much Jim D. My setting was on medium since purchase. I changed it to slow with very much success. Thank you very much!

On August 19th Netflix rolled out a new homepage interface. This new homepage is NOT Apple TV 4th Gen accessible. The netflix supervisor took note of my comments and he said that I received the new interface because on my account I unknowingly checked the box to accept any new changes to their homepage. He then walked me through to uncheck the box but I never went back to the old homepage. Does anyone have Netflix with this homepage problem?

I don’t understand why Netflix changed the payment system on the Apple Store. I have a prepaid Visa gift card that I got as a gift—actually two of them, with about $25 each. I registered them online through the Prepaid Center website, using a U.S. address and ZIP code, since they are U.S. cards. But even with all that set up, whenever I try to use them online to buy a gift card, it doesn’t work.

Now, I do fully understand you can’t usually buy a gift card with another gift card. But are there any stores or websites that an accept prepaid Visa gift cards? Because so far, I haven’t had much luck. I figured maybe I could buy a Netflix gift card with it, then just apply that to my Netflix account. But for some reason, the Visa prepaid doesn’t work directly with Netflix either.

I get that these prepaid cards often don’t work for recurring subscription purchases—that part makes sense. But is there any possible workaround? Maybe some third-party service or package with Netflix that routes the payment through the App Store so it goes through differently? Probably not, but I figured I’d ask anyway. If anyone knows a way around this, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Raul:

I too do not know how to cast Netflix to the TV. So I watch it on my phone and pair my iPhone to a speaker.
