Accessibility Comments

jRustonApps, the developer, has gone to great lengths to make this app as accessible as possible to users of VoiceOver. He and I emailed back and forth so that he could perfect the see-surface temperature chart. Now a VoiceOver user is able to swipe through an ocean and hear the differing water temps.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

Other Comments

I would recommend getting the paid app. This is because the free one has ads that get in the way. The paid app is $2.

I just opened the app to track a storm in the gulf of Mexico and all I can get to are the messages about the storm under the forecast tab, and even there it just tells me that the storm is being tracked with something that I neither can find or even know what it is. Under the now tab it shows me that there's a storm active in the Atlantic but nothing happens when I double tap there. Last year I had an area where I could tap on the name of the storm and it would show me the current coordinates and then the approximate expected coordinates for the next 5 days but I can't find that now.

Once in the now tab, you will need to slide your finger around the screen generally toward the middle top. Once you find the list of storms you can then double tab on it, then add to your notifications.
