Accessibility Comments

This app is quite accessible. The only issue to speak of is that there are some improperly tagged images in the forecast view. In addition to providing a text forecast, the app also displays images based on the type of weather expected. So, if you are navigating through the forecast view with VoiceOver set to display all images--even those without descriptions--VoiceOver reads the image names, such as "hitsra30.png" for scattered showers and thunderstorms. This is definitely not a deal-breaker, especially as I have VoiceOver set to only display images with descriptions, but it is not fully accessible either.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

This is an ad-free version of the app Forecast Now. It is worth noting, however, that while this app does display hazardous weather alerts for a location, it *does not* provide push notifications for severe weather events.

I have the free version of this app. If I pay for it will that only remove the adds, or are there other benefits to the paid version of this app? Thank you.

Hi Lisa,

To the best of my knowledge, Forecast Now+ only removes the advertising.
