allergy pollen count

Category

Description of App

This app allows you to know the levels of mold, pollen, dust and other allergens. The pollen is broken down by type, so you can know that say there's no grass pollen, but there's tree pollen.
You can also track symptoms, find an allergist, and see videos on ways to treat/prevent allergy flare-ups. You can also look at the weather on there too.

Accessibility Comments

The allergy reports are accessible. While you can check the weather, the table format that it's in is not easy to read. For example, it will read the columns with the hours/days then after you swipe through that, then you'll see the temps.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

If you want an app to know what the pollen/other allergy counts are, and that's all you want, then this is a very accessible app.
It does run in portrait mode. And another thing is that the pollen levels come from the Academy for Asthma Allergy and Imunelogy stations. So, there may not be a station directly in your location. For example, the closest station to me is in Dayton Ohio. And when you get the app, you will make things easier on yourself if you turn on location services for it. Because it will find your station nearest to you if not in your location. And you'll get reports right away.
