Hey AppleVis community!
I'm Stephen, developer of Vision AI Assistant and I need to jump in here because we've been getting some confused messages lately! 😅
Vision AI: Visual Assistance (this app entry) and Vision AI Assistant (our platform) are two completely separate products by different developers. We're not affiliated, we don't endorse this app, and this is not us. We just both happened to pick really similar names.
Great minds must think alike eh?
Awkward...
We've had folks reaching out thinking we're the same thing, so I wanted to clear that up before the confusion gets worse. If you're looking for us, we're a different platform entirely. You can find the applevis thread here:
https://applevis.com/forum/assistive-technology/stop-waiting-ai-tell-you-what-see-start-exploring-it-yourself
If you're interested in this one, that's a different developer's work.
Thanks for understanding.
Now while I'm here, I might as well try this out :).

I post some Guide Dog app entry and people just start accusing me of posting scam. I post about this app and the developer of a separate and different app chimes in to promote his own app, followed by another post emphasizing that the URL pointing to the website for the app posted by me here doesn't work and (s)he will therefore use Vision AI Assistant. Fine, but I already mention under the "Other Comments" heading that the URL doesn't work, and I'm not liable for that. Also, if a dev wishes to address those using his app or getting confused, he should do that in the thread where his own app is discussed, not here. FYI, I will post an entry for another app named "AI Glove" pretty soon, so get ready to bombard me with weird accusations! I'm at least as ready as you are to counter them!
