Category

Description of App

FREE FOR INITIAL RELEASE. EveryCord will cost $0.99 after this promotion. EveryCord, by the makers of iRec, flawlessly records your iOS 11 screen and saves it locally on the device at full HD and 60 FPS. Our app supports device-wide screen capture/recording – it IS NOT a “web browser recorder” that cannot record out of the app. With EveryCord, you can record your entire screen, including your favorite games, moments, and funny videos on the fly with fully customizable settings. We also support live-streaming directly to YouTube, Twitch, and more services that support the RTMP Protocol!

Accessibility Comments

This app is fully accessible.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

To record:
• Open the Control Center.
• Tap on the screen recording button.
• You will see two options, Camera Roll, which is the default screen recording system, and EveryCord. Tap on every cord, then if you want microphone audio, switch that on and hit start broadcast.
This can actually record voice over, I tested it and it works fine. The recent update allowed you to capture your device's raw audio.
Other than that, this is an amazing app.

Hi there, I just got this app and opened it. Everything is quite accessible as is stated above. What I’m wondering is if I wanted to broadcast to YouTube, how would I do this pacifically? Like how would I put in the URL that it wants?

How can I record VoiceOver with this?

By tunmi13 on Friday, February 23, 2018 - 17:37

Sean:
You have to use your computer to find the URL for it. I'll get more details when I can.
Sabrina: Simply turn up your volume all the way with voiceover on, then select EveryCord from the screen recording controls. Turn on microphone audio and start broadcasting button is to the left.

Wow. This is great! I like the fact that you can choose between one or two channels.

I have made several screen recordings using this app but I can't get them to play. I've tried turning the internal audio on and off but that doesn't seem to make a difference. I've restarted my device, as well as made sure the mic is enabled. What am I missing? Every time I go to rcordings in the app and choose one to play, the play button is dimmed.

It seems the last update didn't fix that issue. I'll contact the developer and see if they can fix it.

I have an issue with the native screen recorder in ios 11.2.5. The volume of voice over is very low during playback and this is because the voice over is heard through the earpiece during recording. I found Every Chord and on testing I realized that the voice over is going through the earpiece also.
I could not play back the video because the play button is dimmed. Has anybody successfully tested this app ? And what was the volume of voice over during playback. Voice over is important in my playback.

I've just downloaded the app yesterday and I'm loving it. same here. Cannot play my videos, but can record just fine with no problem. also, I've found an option to turn on/off internal audio. what does this mean?

By Sabrina on Friday, February 23, 2018 - 17:37

This is a really great app. I can do it like I do in the screen recording builtin feature, but I am often using headphones. The sound comes on fine. VoiceOver does occationally. This is a really great app, and I hope the bugs will all be fixed.

By tunmi13 on Friday, February 23, 2018 - 17:37

This update consists of: • A critical bug fix for recordings becoming corrupted when microphone audio was enabled Thank you for using EveryCord and leaving your feedback!

Nice.

Still, I don't like having to turn up my iOS volume to get a direct record. I wish the developer can add the ability to, like internal audio, record VoiceOver, if that'd even be possible.

So I just tried to record internal audio, and I can't seem to play back my stuff.

This app is paid now, BTW. $1.99.

Thanks Orinks, maee modifications.

So I absolutely hate this app right now.

1. It does not save your broadcast information when you go and switch tabs! For someone who hasn't yet caught up with the times and developed a streaming video app that actually supports Twitch and Youtube, for starters, out of the gate with their respective API... seriously I'm not going to type in my stream key every time I want to broadcast! That's 44 characters I shouldn't have to remember!

Inaccessible apps that do the same thing as Everycord have this. Mobcrush, for instance.

How do I switch from broadcast to recording? It only says "Start Broadcast" and I can't switch it to Recording. pls help

hi,

version 1.2.1 is available! here's what's new:

A new start/stop button for easy recording/broadcasting access.

By KE7ZUM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 - 17:37

Will it still remember your info such as a youtube or twitch key? If not that really does need to be looked into.

By JC on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 - 17:37

as long as you don't uninstall it, it should. if not, you could contact the developer directly.
