Accessibility Comments
That effort has been put into making this app fully accessible is very apparent. With that said, there are currently a couple minor quirks with VoiceOver:
- When booking a ride, sometimes (but not always) the available dates on the main screen are not spoken by VoiceOver. When this occurs, one just hears the VoiceOver sound effect play but there is no speech. There are 4 options, with the default selected option being to book a ride for today. Other options include Tomorrow, the day after that, or Choose Custom Date--in that order. I have been using the UZURV app regularly since March 2024, and as of yet I cannot find a reliable way to reproduce this issue.
- When booking a ride, sometimes VoiceOver focus skips right over the payment details part of the screen. Either exploring by touch, or putting VoiceOver focus on the previous element and moving forward again, will bring the payment information into focus.
- When viewing upcoming rides on the main screen, if a ride is 'Scheduled' (meaning that the driver has not yet started the trip), VoiceOver reads the ride status as "{{Ride Status}}."
- On the Payment screen in My Account, the 'Back' button is not labeled.
