Accessibility Comments

This app is mostly accessible with VoiceOver. The biggest issue is that when navigating the flight board, VoiceOver loses its place in the list of flights. I suspect that this is due to the information constantly being updated, though this is just a guess on my part. The flight information screens, as well as the screens for creating and managing flight alerts, are accessible in my experience.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

As flight trackers go, this is the best and most accessible option I have found thus far. The flight alerts worked great on a recent trip I took. The price for a yearly ad-free subscription is reasonable all things considered, though I definitely recommend turning off auto-renew for any subscription-based app like this and 'resubscribing' as necessary.

Hi. Has anyone managed to actually see where a flight is on the flight aware app? Apparently there’s supposed to be some sort of map that comes up but I’ve not found it to be accessible. Any thoughts?
