This kind of musical serendipity is very specific to SoundCloud because of the platform’s unique content.” - TechCrunch, Alex Mozaed “SoundCloud is a great place for finding new music from emerging artists.” - The Next Web, Owen Williams “SoundCloud Go is a big move for the company, which built its business by allowing artists to upload their music and share it with fans on social media and blogs. Acts like Drake, Lily Allen, Kanye West and Miley Cyrus have used it to premiere songs, or share works in progress. It has established the Berlin-based company as an influential player in the music industry, especially in the dance music genre.” - Mark Savage, BBC News COMMUNITY Like what you hear? Here and there the app might show numbers without telling you exactly what they refer to, but mostly it's something like number of sounds, followers, etc.

Other Comments

I've been using this app quite regularly to keep up to date on stats for my sounds. Sharing my music through soundcloud has been a more effective way to go about it as opposed to what I used to do, namely: put the track in Dropbox and share the public link. SoundCloud automatically posts to the social networks I want to post on and gives me much more options on how I want to manage my music online, i.e. downloadable or not, only wanting to notify specific people about the sounds, etc. Unfortunately you can't change the settings for the linked social networks in the app itself, but that's only a minor point for me.

If you can upload a song that is already recorded, say, a cover of a song I did, How is this done in the app? I usually record my tracks, get them mixed and then put them in Dropbox. can sound cloud get the file out of dropbox so I can upload it? also, can you eddit your profile with the app?I do not see a record button anywhere. Sorry for so many questions.

Hi, this app needs revising I have just been looking at notification settings and this part of the app is full of unlabeled buttons there are also unlabeled buttons in other parts of the app, the rating certainly needs downgrading.
another thing I am having problems with on the stream tab there doesn't seem to be an easy way to quickly select to only see tracks by a particular person I am following, instead I must scroll through everything I follow which is displayed in the order I followed the people.

Is it possible to have an audio blog on this where I can put game recordings or is this for music only?
