WebWatch - Monitor Websites

Category

Description of App

Never miss a website update.
WebWatch periodically checks for updates on your device, even when the application is closed.
When there is a change, you will receive a notification.
You can ignore specific changes to receive a notification only when relevant parts of the website are updated.

WebWatch works with iOS's Background App Refresh, and relies on the system to perform a refresh task, so the check interval is decided by iOS and will vary from device to device.
Please make sure that Background App Refresh is enabled for WebWatch (Settings > General > Background App Refresh).

Other Comments

I am pretty sure you have to keep this app open in the app switcher in the background to get push notifications about a website updating. This may sound a little confusing but, lets say I go into the app and I follow Applevis.com . Having the app in my app switcher in the background I should get a push notification on my phone if Applevis has been updated, however, once I get that initial push notification about a website having been updated, for me to get more push notifications about that particular website updating, I have to go in the app and double tap notifications for that particular website, so they get cleared or acknowledged. Also, there is a handy "reload all" button in the app. So, all of the websites you follow gets updated instantly.
