Accessibility Comments
The app is accessible but VoiceOver lags in large documents. When reading and editing with a Braille Sense display, the cursor and VoiceOver are not in sync. There are three unlabeled buttons near the top of the screen between one for accessing documents and another for changing font. The keyboard contains an extra row with tab, double quote, single quote, and other buttons. To move through many pages, it is best to use scrolling commands before pressing double tap to edit text, which causes the keyboard to appear. Pressing double tap on a document does not cause it to open. The pass through gesture (double tap and hold) followed by a split tap should work to open a document. Flicking before opening doesn't work; using a finger to find the exact location and then opening with the pass through gesture does. I have not attempted to select text and change font, so I cannot yet comment on the accessibility of those features. We finally have an iPhone app to edit RTF files; however, the question of its practicality with VoiceOver lagging remains.
