Other Comments

Newsify has gone under a major overhaul. It was once a RSS Reader client to use with your Google Reader services. Now that Google Reader services has left the building. They have gone with the Feedly Reader services. It provides the same services if not better. Newsify still has the same interface and is extremely accessible and easy to use.

Each and every update they make to this app the more and more I just love this app. My personal favorite has been the EZFeed for the past year but Newsify has really gone the extra mile in their latest update. This is now my most favorite RSS Reader program out there. So easy to use. The simplicity and the speed just make this bar none the best. Love it! What's New in Version 1.4 • New and improved Google login (you'll be prompted to log in again) • iOS 6 and iPhone 5 compatibility • Added Google+ sharing • Added share action to view image alt text (tap-and-hold image to view) • Added share action to open in Chrome • Added additional choices to the Show Thumbnails setting to allow showing thumbnails only in newspaper or table view • Added additional article font options • (iPad) Added setting to show article source in newspaper view on iPad • Added advanced setting to disable full screen toggling in full article view • Added advanced setting to show article counter in full article view • Added advanced setting to change tap-and-hold action for read items (new options are mark unread and share to Pocket, Instapaper or Readability) • Added advanced setting to configure dimming read items • Added advanced setting to disable embedding frames - if swiping doesn't work in some articles with wide content, disabling this setting may help • Fixed Tumblr sharing • Additional bug fixes

Hi, Please can someone help me with this app? I have got a google account but do not know ow to use a news feeder at all. How do I search for articles

By Sandra on Saturday, February 23, 2013 - 09:44

Hi, I have used ezFeeds in the past but am looking for an alternative since it hasn't been updated in quite a while. Does Newsify announce read/unread status of messages? Can I customise Newsify to sent links to a mobilizer so that articles are automatically stripped of useless links pictures etc? Can I customise the mobilizer articles are sent to for each feed separately? Is it easy to add and remove feeds in Newsify? Thank you

Major Release! A must have for those Google Reader subscribers. This will now join in force with the Feedly servers to prvide the same services as we wanted and used with the Google Reader services.

This has been in the past my hands down must have RSS Client of choice. Now that they have choiced with the Feedly folks. This will still continue to be my top choice in a RSS Reader client. Extremely accessible and easy to use.

What's New in Version 2.0

Good news! We've partnered with Feedly to keep Newsify working after Google Reader shuts down on July 1. To transfer your data, open Newsify and follow the instructions to log in to Feedly.

Also in this update:
• Updated Facebook sharing
• Additional bug fixes and improvements

Still the best RSS reader around! Very happy to still have the developer continue to update and care for the application. This one and UNREAD are my two go to RSS readers. Here's to hoping they continue to upgrade the applications with accessibility in mind straight on into IOS 8! -Andrew-
