Accessibility Comments

The actual news articles are read by VoiceOver if you are able to select one. The main problem introduced with the latest update to this app is the inability to read the article list with VoiceOver. This makes it time-consuming to read the iClarified headlines, since the user has to randomly double-tap on one of the unlabeled items in the center of the screen, read the heading at the top of the screen, then double-tap on the back button in the lower left corner, and repeat the entire process. Once an article is loaded, it is possible to do a double-tap and hold gesture to pass a swipe through to the app to switch to the next article, but this isn't convenient, since VoiceOver does not clearly announce the newly loaded article unless the user manually searches the screen for the heading near the top. This works for me as an advanced VO user, but it's definitely not user-friendly for new users of VO and iOS devices. It's also inconvenient for those of us who might just like to quickly browse headlines.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.
